Leaf Walking for Our Leaf Collection

Today the kids walked through the trail found in the woods behind Franklin Park.  They collected Compound leaves (many leaves), Toothed leaves (teeth around the edge), Lobed leaves (look like fingers), and Rounded leaves (smooth).  Tomorrow they will classify the leaves and glue them into their leaf collection booklet.

What a FUN afternoon!
