Japan

We have a student in our classroom who was born in Japan and lived

in Japan until moving to the United States in 2007.  Our classmate

recently shared the Japanese culture with us during our recent

study of Japan.  We enjoyed reading books, practicing origami, listening

to Japanese music, eating Japanese snacks, and attempting to use chopsticks!

We have learned Japanese children and American children have a lot in

common.  Most of all, they enjoy one another's friendship.
